Join us for a campus history tour this Friday, November 6th at 3pm, starting at Morehead Planetarium. Meet in the Atrium at 2:40 and head to the visitors’ center for a Priceless Gems tour, “Digging In Our Heels, Angels on Campus: the History of Women On Campus”. The series continues next week with “Black and Blue”, led by Robert Porter, Lecturer in UNC-Chapel Hill Department of African, African American and Diaspora Studies. The final tour, “UNC-Chapel Hill’s American Indian Center Presents the Native Narrative” will take place on November 20th.
This is a great opportunity to learn some interesting things about UNC and explore our campus!
ENVRSO is holding its next meeting November 5th at 4:30, in MHRC 2005. We’ll reveal our new t-shirt design and vote on shirt colors, see you then!
ENVRSO invites members to meet at The Speakeasy in Carborro this Friday at 5pm for “informal L&L”. On Saturday there will be an outing to a local corn maze and pumpkin patch, followed by pumpkin carving off campus. Check your email for details!
Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 8th. We will be deciding on t-shirt designs and talking about upcoming outreach and volunteer events, as well as more social events, for the fall semester.
